RESTORED TO LAUGHTER

OCTOBER-THE MONTH I AM RESTORED TO LAUGHTER-Gen 18:11,12,15
Now Sarah was listening at the entrance to the tent, which was behind him. 11 Abraham and Sarah were already very old, and Sarah was past the age of childbearing. 12 So Sarah laughed to herself as she thought, “After I am worn out and my lord is old, will I now have this pleasure?”13 Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ 14 Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”
The above passage is very deep. Sarah, understanding the impossibility of her flesh blurted out laughing at what seemed to be an impossible proclamation. Little did she know that the word was a word of prophesy, and from God Himself. She laughed!
There are many types of laughter in the bible, but permit me to share a couple with you in this piece:

1. There is the laughter of a fool-Ecc 7:6.
Like the crackling of thorns under the pot,
so is the laughter of fools.
 This too is meaningless.
This kind of a laughter does not last or does not end in joy. It's a laughter that ends in depression, despair, loneliness when it comes to an end. The end is not too good. Just like we see in Prov 14:13.
Even in laughter the heart may ache, and rejoicing may end in grief.
Why is this? It is because it is a forced manner of laughter.

2. The laughter that comes from God. Ps 2:4
...the one who sits in heaven laughs.
This is when He sees the sinful nature and the end of the wicked, God Himself laughs. Ps 37:12-123 reiterates this fact.
The wicked plot against the righteous
    and gnash their teeth at them;
but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.

But the laughter that Sarah laughed, which is the 3rd kind of laughter is:

3. The Laughter of Unbelief. Gen 18:12
It may be that since we started the MOT in February, and in the 36th week of a 40 week prayer and fasting, you find yourself laughing at all the prophecies, because they are not coming to pass in your life. It seems that all the prayers are not even going beyond the roof for you, I have good news, you are not alone. Sarah too could not believe that at age 90, she would conceive and have a child. The husband, Abraham being 100. How could that be. She said she has ceased to be with her and womanhood. Perhaps that is what you are saying now, that it is finished for you, Joy can't come to you, and you laughed in unbelief, I have good news for you.

You are saying it is impossible for you to be blessed this late in October, when the year is running out. That job is impossible to get, that barrenness has come to stay, and that illness will not abate. I have good news for you.

The good news is as you have laughed in unbelief, God will bring and restore your laughter back to you in manifestation of your joy. Joy and laughter have not ceased in your life. Testimony shall still be shared by you this year. That job, good health, prosperity and expansions shall still be your portion. This month, your laughter shall come after God's declaration in Jesus NAME.

All those who have mocked you as they did to Sarah and Elizabeth, shall come to rejoice with you. They shall be put outside just like it happened in Luke 8:56. You shall be astonished at what God will do for you.
Yours shall not be the laughter of a fool any longer. It shall be said of you, just like it was said of Sarah in Gen 21:6: “God has brought me laughter, and everyone who hears about this will laugh with me.”  And she added, “Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would nurse children? Yet I have borne him a son in his old age.”

You shall come back laughing, and rejoicing in Jesus Name. Amen.

Happy New MONTH
