Time-Workers Creed

“Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.”
‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5:16‬ ‭NLT‬‬

I love the above version of Eph 5:16! Make use of every opportunity. It is clear than when God want to do you a favour in every area of human endeavour, He grants you an opportunity. He doesn't give you money if He want you to be rich, He grants you power of opportunity to make wealth Deut 8:18. He doesn't give you a life partner, He grants you opportunity to meet him/her  Gen 24:63..Despite the fact that Isaac's wife had been chosen for him, he had to be out meditating to meet Rebekah. Same with Jacob etc. He who finds a wife...Prov 18:22. And same applies to everything. Ecc 9:11 time and chance apply to them all. Ecc 3 tells us the seasons of time. 

So if that be the case, it beehoves on us to be prepared. Someone said opportunity meets with preparation brings great breakthrough or huge success. And we know that the enemy is also on the look out- 1 Peter 5:8. The bible tells us that God will set out table before our enemies. Ps 23:5. So that phase 'the days are evil, means we compete with the children of the world in taking forth our opportunities. Lk 16:8

The lesson therefore is everyday brings us closer to eternal sleep and if you have to make it here on earth and in heaven you have to make use of every opportunity presented to you. You have to number the days so you can apply your heart to wisdom. Ps 90:12. This applies to everything, leave offence, malice, discord, backbiting behind and concentrate on using the opportunity to your advantage. Many people are moving on to great things, don't waste time, spend time and achieve great things. The days are evil, don't be swept your feet by evil deeds.

KORAN: IS THE PASTOR, SILLY

I find the art of burning symbols or even in the most diabolical circumstances, political burning of human beings ranked as one of the basest evil that man can do to man. However, I found it strange for an evangelical Pastor to plan, arrange and canvass for the burning of the Koran as most strange and uncalled for...it shows nothing but abject stupidity and unchristian! Could this be the beginning of Islam-phobic that may set a tinder box of inflammable consequences all over the world or its going to be seen as one of those attention seeking gesture of ignominy. Thinking about it, it can achieve nothing but unnecessary boiling of the temperature of the religious tensions all over the world.
