APRIL-The month I become wiser. Prov 8:14-

Welcome to the wisdom month, and a wiser quarter.

The Bible tells us all the things that wisdom can do in Prov 8:14-36. All through the bible we see the power of wisdom and ultimately we know Christ is wisdom personified. Wisdom is so important that Solomon in his book of proverbs chapter 4:7 declares '...wisdom is the principal thing...get wisdom...' You therefore might ask yourself, why is wisdom so important and what is wisdom.

Simply put Wisdom is the application of knowledge. And wisdom is the main thing. A teacher of wisdom compares wisdom to a core subject in the University. He says if you don't pass that subject, even if you passed all the other minor subjects, you are not moving ahead. So Wisdom is able to determine your destiny.

The wisdom we talk about is different from every other wisdom. There are different kinds of wisdom(James 3:13-17-
1. Earthly and sensual wisdom. It is common sense at best.
2. Intellectual wisdom. Your collation of degrees and educational certificates give you this kind.
3. Diabolical wisdom-Cults, wicked spirits etc will give you this.
4. Wisdom from above. This is it. Only from God. It is the wisdom from above. The bible tells us in John 3:31...He who comes from above is above all, he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all'. This wisdom is from above.
In James 3:17 the bible says the wisdom that is from above is pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. Yes, that is wisdom from above. We know that every good gift and perfect gift comes from above. James 1:17

This wisdom makes you stand above all. It makes you stand above life challenges, circumstances and issues. Our glory is hidden in this wisdom. This kind of wisdom is found in Joseph. A prisoner that understood the dream of the most powerful king on earth at the time(Pharaoh), and prescribed the solution. One thing is to know a dream, interpreted it, another is to give meaning and solution to it. Joseph applied the knowledge to solve the King's problem. Pharaoh exclaimed: Gen 41:39...In as much as God has shown you all this, there is no one as discerning and wise as you. You shall rule over my house, and all my people shall be ruled according to your word....' What a result for application of knowledge. I decree such wisdom for you this month in Jesus Name. Amen.

Solomon is also a great example. In 1Kings 3 he asked God to grant him wisdom to rule. And God gave him such wisdom. The bible tells us of him later in 1Kings 4:21...So Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from River to the land of the Philistines, as far as the border of Egypt. They brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life. This kind of wisdom bring you into honour, and people will desire to serve you. Receive this virtue in Jesus Name. Amen. Solomon had wisdom for life. You too can have wisdom for life.

KORAN: IS THE PASTOR, SILLY

I find the art of burning symbols or even in the most diabolical circumstances, political burning of human beings ranked as one of the basest evil that man can do to man. However, I found it strange for an evangelical Pastor to plan, arrange and canvass for the burning of the Koran as most strange and uncalled for...it shows nothing but abject stupidity and unchristian! Could this be the beginning of Islam-phobic that may set a tinder box of inflammable consequences all over the world or its going to be seen as one of those attention seeking gesture of ignominy. Thinking about it, it can achieve nothing but unnecessary boiling of the temperature of the religious tensions all over the world. If burning of symbols have made any difference, it is only that it has caused more terrorism and undue celebration of cultures that are not worthy of such importance.How many flags of the US, UK etc have been burnt in the middle-east has changed policy, I doubt any.
