Benefits of His revealed secrets.
November: Month of His revealed secret.
Our God is good, and I say again our God is good. It's the 11th month and He has given us an insight into what He has in store for us for 2012. My prayer is that we will all enjoy the benefits hidden in that year in Jesus Name. Amen.
This month, He has something to tell us about His secret. He has a way of choosing a select few and give them His secrets for various reasons. I believe you are part of that select few. Why?
1. To obtain spiritual wisdom
Paul in his letter to the Corinthians, see 1 Cor 2:6-16...confirms that If God want to give you His wisdom, he gives it to you by His spirit. He opens you up to see things others will not see.
2. If you are considered as special.
The inner core. Jesus had an inner core that he would show or reveal some things to. They have a higher revelation of Him and His being. For example He only took Peter, James and John to Mount of the transfiguration.
Now after six days Jesus took Peter, James, and John his brother, led them up on a high mountain by themselves; and He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. Then the disciples understood that He spoke to them of John the Baptist. (Matthew 17:1, 2, 13 NKJV)
3. God's secret lifts you and promote you.
For example see Daniel and 's dream.
Then Daniel went to his house, and made the decision known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions, that they might seek mercies from the God of heaven concerning this secret, so that Daniel and his companions might not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then the secret was revealed to Daniel in a night vision. So Daniel blessed the God of heaven. He reveals deep and secret things; He knows what is in the darkness, And light dwells with Him. (Daniel 2:17-19, 22 NKJV)
The interpretation of the dream lifted Daniel above others. See Joseph also.
4. He also shows you His secret to demonstrate His trust in you and confirm you as His trusted friend and servant.
Surely the Lord God does nothing, Unless He reveals His secret to His servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7 NKJV)
So if He wants to take a decision or do something important, He gives you an advance notice. For example God showed Abraham what He wanted to do to Sodom and Gomorah, this allowed Abraham to negotiate with God. And the Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am doing, since Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? (Genesis 18:17, 18 NKJV) What a privilege.
And many more. So i have assurance in the word of God that says But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. (1 Corinthians 2:9, 10 NKJV)
he will show you His secrets and you shall be blessed this month and next year and years to come. Why don't you develop a relationship with Him today....He says I will give you the treasures of darkness And hidden riches of secret places, That you may know that I, the Lord, Who call you by your name, Am the God of Israel. (Isaiah 45:3 NKJV)
